WHEN AND WHY DID YOU START PLAYING:
I started playing around about 2003 when Inveraray and District Pipe Band had just formed.
My sister was in the band, so I’d go along and watch them practice and ended up learning.

BIGGEST INFLUENCE:
I received the majority of my tuition from Stuart Liddell through the Inveraray and District Pipe Band system, but all the other instructors at Inveraray such Dougie Campbell, Robert Stewart, Kate Paton and Annie Grant have all been fantastic influences as well.

FAVOURITE MOMENT IN ISLAY PIPE BAND:
My first trip to Islay was for Kilchoman’s opening of their new visitor centre, it was also my first official function with the band.
